Tackle Otaku - "Great Hunting Flatsides are my go-to starting point for BFS fishing.  While they were designed for trout, and crush trout - I catch a TON of bass on them!  I use the sinking version most of the time, and use it more as a crankbait with a straight retrieve.  The floating version is awesome when you want the bait to stay near the top.  Be careful with the hooks.  They're amazing, but very thin.  You'll want to have some replacements on hand if you're catching a bunch!"
